Supreme Court declares Deputy Speaker’s Ruling as unconstitutional and restores National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared the Ruling of the Deputy Speaker of National Assembly as unconstitutional and dissolution of National Assembly as illegal. 

The Supreme Court’s five-member bench headed by thee Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial gave the ruling and restored the National Assembly on Thursday. 

The verdict of the Supreme Court was announced in suo-motu case related to National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri’s Ruling blocking the vote of no-confidence against the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan today evening.
